Linda Lewis

Linda Samantha Lewis graced the world with her presence on April 7, 1967. Born at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia to Bobby and Rosa Mae Lewis, Linda was the fifth of seven children. Linda spent much of her life growing up in Atlanta's infamous East Lake Meadows where she attended Charles Drew Elementary and East Atlanta High School. Linda had a unique personality and a great sense of humor. She made friends both near and far and was protective of those she cared for. To know her, was to know that she was the life of any party. Her infectious smile and loving spirit is what will be missed the most by her family and friends. Linda departed from this life on Friday, January 3, 2025. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of her loved ones. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Linda Lewis was preceded in death by her father Bobby Lewis and her brother Michael Lewis. She leaves to cherish her memory her lifelong partner of 37 years, James Ivey. Her four beautiful children, James Lewis, Shanteior Lewis (April Williams), Ricardo Lewis, and Monta Lewis. Linda was also a loving and caring grandmother to Jayvion, Serenity, Jalen, Kalani and Harmoni. Linda is also survived by her brothers Sylvester Whitmore, Bobby Lewis, and Ricardo Lewis (Daphne) and her sisters Janice Whitmore and Patricia Lewis. A nephew who held a very special place in heart Ricardo Lewis Jr. along with a host of other family and friends.
